Raymond H. Skidmore, MBT, MS, CPA
Ray has over 40 years of experience in public accounting and income tax preparation. He holds two Masters’ Degrees in Taxation and one in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been a college level instructor at California State University, Northridge and Moorpark College, and has taught CPA review courses at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Jerry S. Markell, MST, BS, CPA
Jerry has over 38 years of experience in public accounting and income tax preparation. He holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting Theory and Practice. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jerry has extensive experience in income, sales and payroll tax audit representation as well as estate and trust tax planning and preparation.
Patrick Roy, MS, BS, CRTP
Patrick has over 18 years of experience as a business advisor and financial analyst. He holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences. He has been designated as a Registered Tax Preparer by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). He manages our firm’s tax department and is currently pursuing his Certified Public Accountant certificate.
Rhett Torres, BS, CRTP
Rhett's last 15 years of experience include tax, accounting, advisory, analytical, and IT roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Accounting and has been designated as a Registered Tax Preparer by the California Tax Education Council (CTEC). He prepares Corporate, Partnership, LLC, and Individual tax returns. Rhett specializes in accounting systems management and cleanup through software such as as Quickbooks, Great Plains, Financial Force, Midas, and others.
Daniel Porter, MBA, CCEP*
Mr. Porter has been in the financial services business for over 27 years. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is a Registered Financial Advisor. He is a Certified Estate Planner and a Licensed California Life, Health and Disability Agent. Daniel services client investment, retirement and estate needs. He establishes and maintains investment, retirement and rollover accounts as well as assists in developing overall estate plans.
